Space suits? Check! Monster mode? Check! Alpha cube? (Something a wrestler named Chaos drew his power from,) Check! CAW mode to create celeb wrestlers? (Milla Militia anyone? ) Double-check! Yay!
Yeah, I want to give the Romulans a try in Star Trek Online! They aren't in the game, but I hear you can customize the game and make them, which is pretty cool! I wonder if you can create the Talosians too?

WTIC- You'd need all the COTG speciality bells and whistles. If you could actually replicate the kinds of cards I've seen on these boards it'd be killer! The ability to create believable Celebs would be really cool.
On the last Star Trek game I played,I beat everyone except the Klingons. Those Romulan Warbirds were hard to destroy. But eventually I beat them after many tries.

Yeah, celebs rule!
My fave Star Trek game was Star Trek Armada! You could build ships for one of 4 fleets (Fed, Klingon, Romulan, or Borg) then control them to take on the other fleets, lots of fun!

Armada looks cool.I knew a guy that played that a lot,he was really into it.I have Star Trek 25th Anniversary aka The Dimentional Gate.Kirk,Spock and all the original characters. It's based on actual Star Trek episodes.
I also have the original STTNG video game. You a cadet at Star Fleet Academy, you get your rank by how well you do in the simulations. When I beat The Romulans I was promoted to Captain. My favorite job was being Transporter Chief. It was a great game, pretty advanced RPG for an NES game!

Transporter Chief? Cool!
I've never played any TNG games. I do remember when the ST:TNG SNES game came out, Toys R Us wanted $75 for it, ouch! I wasn't about to pay that much for a video game!

WTIC- I didn't see C64's Movie Mogol but they have a number of titles at www.doperom.comI downloaded Star Fleet Acamdemy,ST NG and Deep Space Nine. All great games. It'll take some time to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing.Graphics are excellent for 16 bit that is. SFA has a simulator mode. You can practice fighting Romulans and Klingons and other hostile races. There's a study mode where you can study all the things you need to know to be a Star Fleet Cadet. Deep Space Nine is impressive there's Siskel,Jake,Kira,Dax,Odo and O'Brien so far. In STNG Future's Past you're on a Star Fleet Mission that involves Romulans. The Bridge is fully funtionable! You can access The Computer and all opps!Pretty cool. You (as Data) Navigates the ship through this adventure. "Mr. Data, set course for Earth. Engage!" LOL!
Nice list of Trek games!

As Data you do get to set a course and engage impulse power.I couldn't find the destination Picard wanted!hahaha! So I'm flying around the solar system aimlessly.I'd still prefer to be Transporter Cheif.hahaha!
This brings to mind another game I programed. It was called "Protectors of The Universe".It starred Dr B along with The Dead Gerbils band members Buck & Todd (Heinreich & Freidrick Gerbol). My band of experimental musician take charge of a Galaxy Class Cruiser and set out (with the help of Picard and The Enterprise 1701-D) to battle Tarrelians and other savage races on their way to The Crystal Planet.
You have to shootdown the enemies and not the allies. It was fun you aligned your shot and fired,if you hit your target I had graphics of the ship exploding.Rudimentary graphics but the game was cool none the less.
The object was to Save The Princess, who looked a lot like Helen Hunt. There's a running joke though out the game about who The Princess looked like.Buck thinks she looked like Jodie Foster,Todd thought she looked like Trish Stratus.
You had to blowup a bunch of Aliens so you could transport The Princess onto the ship and take her back to The Crystal Planet.Just don't blowup the aliens that look like Bozo the Clown...
Again this RPG shootem up was done on an archaic system that no longer exists. It wasn't compatible with Windows either.Mac users that played it liked it but they didn't know that I secretly made it so even if you follow the same pattern, you won't end up in the same place. So there were several scenarios and a bunch of different endings.I programed it yet I'd have a hard time finishing the game.I think I only got to the end 2 or 3 times legitimately.

Tarrelians? Description please.
The Crystal Planet? Let me guess: It has crystals on it? ;D
Save the princess? "Thank you, Mario, but our princess is in another castle"! LOL!
Helen Hunt IS Jodie Foster!
Bozo the Clown aliens? Reminds me of the video game for the band Journey: One of the power-ups looked like the Kool-aid guy! LOL!
Cool stuff, Dr. B! I will have to write about the Tron games I came up with sometime!

Tarellians were from Star Trek.Blue skinned I think. Not real fierce fighters. In the game you fought Ferregi,Tarellians and Solairians.Solairians were guys that kidnapped The Princess. The Solairians were your typical oval headed, big black eyed, skinny aliens.
Crystal Planet...the planet was composed of Crystal.Real pretty place especially if the sun hit it right you'd rainbows of colors like a prism.Or at least that's what I envisioned.
Yes that part of it is real Mario,Kung Fu,Legend of Zelda etc. except my Princess was (in reality) Helen Hunt or at least a picture of Helen Hunt.hahaha!I used the program to render her in ink.It came out pretty good.
The running joke was funny.Buck says she looks like Jodie Foster,Todd disagrees he thinks she looks like Trish Stratus. Buck says he thought she looked more like Terri Runnels...the 3 of us do this bit thoughout the game.
I stuck Bozo the Clown in as a trap. You know the round headed Bug Eyed guys is the alien you wanna blast, but the temptation to unload you disruptors into Bozo becomes overwhelming. If you blast Bozo he takes everything with him including you and your crew!It was a cool trap!
You programed Tron-esque games?Cool!

The blue-skinned aliens in Trek are Andorians. Maybe they were called Tarrelians for the game only?
Trish, Helen, Jodie, or Terri... yes please! ;D
