Here we go again,another wrestling video game analysis

The 5 BEST Wrestling Games of all Time.

5.WWE 2k series
a.graphics look good not necessarily better
b.promises 100s of wrestlers,they are all locked
c.cannot create women unless you unlock everything
d.cost $1.99 to unlock

4.WWF Wrestlemania 2000 (n64)
a.because this programming is 18 years old there are draw backs
b.even with it's limitations I still created an ok Jim Cornette
c.the watch mode is the best thing.matches not 1 sided because
you're trying to win.Random AI determines the match not you.
d.you can name your titles

3.Super Firepro Wrestling Premium X (snes)
a.good assortment of wrestlers
b.CAW is good but limited.I created a believable Nightstalker
c.matches are great you can become "invested" in them,great for
storyline creation

2.No Mercy/Virtual Pro Wrestling 2/WCW vs NWO Revenge (aki engine n64)
a.widely regarded as the premier wrestling games
b.CAW is awesome,with some patience you can create spot on wrestlers.My
Big Van Vader looks exactly like him!Did a great Hannah Montana too.
c.each game has several great venues and/or PPV arenas
d.my only complaint is it's WWF based and running away is the only way
to win a cage match!What's the sense of a cage if the winners runs away
to win?
e.styles an be programmed into your CAW.

5.JPW Japanese womens' wrestling kinda crude but but fun to play (snes)
4.Nintendo Pro Wrestling/WCW-NWA/Tecmo Pro Wrestling (nes)
3.Joshi Puro Retsuden (snes)
2.Jikyou Power Pro Wrestling Electried ropes explosives around the ring!
1.Any NJPW game (gbc,snes)

AND MY NUMBER 1 PICK...
Firepro Wrestling 1 & 2 (gba)
a.includes an octagon (they were forced to not use this by UFC)
b.deadly explosives in the deathmatch cage
c.CAW is the best 2D creation mode ever
d.matches are fast paced always fun to play out fav rivalries
e.EASY TO USE!!!Unlike some games which take forever to run 1 match
f.Graphics are 2D but you can tell who the wrestler is supposed to be
g.watch mode best thing about this game especially if you're playing
as a booker.

I like the Firepro games too. Probably my favorite, and I am hardly what I would call a gamer, but I enjoyed 'Here Comes the Pain' the most. It was just fun.

I never played Here Comes The Pain but I've only heard
good things about it.No Mercy and Firepro are what I play most.
I was very disappointed by WWE 2k series,to many glitches &
hidden costs.
