I sim I don't really play these games.I like the randomness anything can happen.Royals got their 1st loss at the hands of The Detroit Tigers. The game was scoreless for 8 innings.Tigers score in the top of the nineth!Royal fail to score and lose by 1 run!Their 2nd loss was to The Mariners. It was tied 3-3.The game goes 13 innings. In the top of the 13th The Mariners score and get the win 4-3!Royals are 2-2...
I do play the rpgs but darn they take a long time.DQ6 is the most challenging game I have ever played.

Cool!
RPG's sure DO take a long time to play! But at least you get a good storyline most of the time, and fun games!
I just picked up Dead Rising 2, so I've been mowing down zombies with a spiked bat, LOL! The game is getting solid ratings (8.5 at Gamespot - a "GREAT" rating from them)! It's been a while since I went around chopping limbs off zombies! Yay!

So I'm playing a lot of Dragon Quest 5 lately. It's better than I anticipated.Early in the game you make a few allies. They all go off and live their lives.I supposed you will meet again later in the game.I have found Borongo,a Wild Panther after 10 years.Borongo is an ally from level 1.He was a kitten then now he's an adult and quite a good fighter!I will be talking more about this one in the future.
My big disappointment is Dragon Quest 2.I was playing along,I was more than half way thru the game when I found out that particular emu was corrupted! So now it's either start over or finish the game with only two of the three Main Characters!DANG!
Dragon Quest 6 was going along fine, but at this point I have to cruise around and fight monsters to get enough experience points to have enough power to defeat these two Guards in this Underwater Castle. The 1st two Guards weren't that hard to beat. These two are tough!Everytime I tried my whole party got killed!I need to beat those Guards to move to the next level.
Dragon Quest/Dragon Warriors are a great set of games! Each is challenging in it's own way.I really like the way the games evolves from one to another.More later...

I've only played 7, 8, 10, 12, and 13. I only started 4. I didn't hear much about 3. I'm sure it's way old school, especially the graphics!

I think the one Joel plays is either GBA or DS.FF3 started out strong, more complicated than I ever thought too.Very in depth. Dr B

So here's something unexpected that happened in Dragon Quest 5...I told you about Bianca and Borongo who were in level 1,right?So recently Borongo rejoined the group.Later on in the adventure,my character Khaitong finds Bianca! She is living in a small mountain village with her father Duncan.
Now Khaitong was on a quest to find The Fire Ring and The Water Ring when he is sent to this small mountain village so he can find (unbeknowst to him),Bianca.Anyway the reason Khaitong is looking for the rings is that the one that finds the rings would get to marry Flora, who is the daughter of rich aristocrat Mr Ludman.
So essentially Khaitong is made to choose between marrying Flora or Bianca.I went for Bianca.I suppose the game would end differently if you chose Flora. So bottomline...big wedding, friends from another Kingdom are at the wedding and the best part is Ludman pays for everything!Bianca receives a Silk Veil before the wedding,it works better than most helmets for protection!
Needless to say Bianca joins the party and fights by your side!I even had it so Khaitong,Bianca and Borongo worked as a team again.1st time in ten years.(10 game years that is...)that much time has expired since Khaitong last saw Bianca. What an unexpected turn of events.I never had a Video Game Wedding before...what a rush!

A video game wedding? Cool! Sounds like a fun game, Dr B!
There was a wedding in Final Fantasy X, as Yuna married Seymour. Nice graphics in that game! I'm sure there's vids of it on Youtube.

Dragon Quest is proving to the best of the series at least up to this point.

So if you thought getting married in a video game was different... Khaitong and Bianca just had twins!I named the boy Khai II and the girl Binky. How they will play in this adventure should be interesting to say the least!

My sister got a copy of Smackdown vs Raw 2010 DS for me. It reminds me of playing The Japanese games I have for SNES. You do have to button mash to get your power level up when knocked down, but other than that it's just like The Japanese ones.
Good Points-All the WWE Superstars are in there. All have their own particular wrestling style.Easy to play,I used Kane to defeat Christian on ECW in my 1st match.CAW is very good I created a guy I named,"Green Machine".Very cool looking. Some cool moves too! Graphics are really good. The guys look like the real guys.Moves are fluid and look really good!
Not so good points-There are no Diva! You can't create them either! They are right on with the details of everything else.No Divas, disappointing! There's no "watch" mode like the earlier versions.
Out of 10 this in my opinion gets an 8.

Good review, Dr B! I will have to check to see if there are any Divas in the PSP version of Smackdown 10. I think there is, but not too sure.
Gran Turismo 5 is pretty good! Getting farther in the game, and I like it so far! Playing Killzone 2 as well. It's your typical first person shooter, so it's okay. I'm not much into that genre, so I'm not sure how far I will get into playing it.
Also have The Beatles: Rock Band, but can't seem to find the wireless plug-in so I can use my wireless guitar. May have to pick up another plug-in if that's the case.
HEY Dr B, how goes it on DQ 5?
