Since we now have a Misc Junk thread made my Dr B, I think it's time we have a Rants thread as well!

Okay, here's my rant today (I'm sure no one gives a rat's @$$, but I'm gonna say it anyway!)

Noooooooooooooooooooooo! My PS3 is dead!

To make a long story short, it won't read any discs anymore. I could have it repaired for $160, trade it in for $60 (while the store would re-sell it for $330), get a new system (another $250), or try to find another one on Craigslist.

Damn, I had so much fun with that PS3.

Oh well. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program...

Dude a brand new PS3 cost more than my Mac Mini!Are they buggy?Are there a lot of consumer having the same problem as you?Sure that game council does a lot of things but uh,that why we have computers...Game Councils like cellphones are trying to do way more than they are supposed to.Isn't there a PS3 guy in your town that will give you a deal on fixing it?

A good number of them, yes.

Agreed. I didn't get it for the blu-ray player.

No. And I don't know of an honest place that would fix it cheaply.

Damn Time-Sony-Warner!They gave you big promises,but bigger heartache!Switching to a nintedo wii wouldn't help either,that would mean that you'd have to purchase your favorite games in wii format.Save your money buy a cool PC with Windows 7 and emulate!
