THIS TO DISPUTE THE WWE'S FRADULENT CLAIM OF BEING THE LONGEST RUNNING EPISODIC TELEVISION SHOW IN HISTORY
General Hospital (commonly abbreviated GH) is an American television program credited by the Guinness Book of World Records as being the second longest-running soap opera in production and the second longest running drama in television,[2] which premiered on the ABC television network on April 1, 1963. Broadcast weekdays and currently repeated nightly on SOAPnet, it is the longest-running serial produced in Hollywood, and the longest-running entertainment program in ABC television history. General Hospital rose to the top of the ratings in the early 1980s in part thanks to the monumentally popular "supercouple" Luke and Laura, whose 1981 wedding brought in 30 million viewers and remains the highest-rated hour in American soap opera history.[3][4]

Sesame Street is an American educational children's television series and a pioneer of the contemporary educational television standard, combining both education and entertainment. Sesame Street is well known for its Muppets characters created by Jim Henson. It premiered on November 10, 1969, and is the longest running children's program on television. The show is produced in the United States by the non-profit organization Sesame Workshop, formerly known as the Children's Television Workshop (CTW), founded by Joan Ganz Cooney and Ralph Rogers.
As a result of its extensive influence, Sesame Street is one of the most highly regarded, and most watched, educational shows for children in the world.[1] The original series has been televised in more than 120 countries, and 25 independent versions have been produced.[2] The show has been called "perhaps the most vigorously researched, vetted, and fretted-over program".[3] As of 2009, the series has received 118 Emmy Awards, more than any other television series.[4] An estimated 77 million Americans watched the series as children.[5]

WWE Raw is a professional wrestling television program for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) that currently airs on the USA Network in the United States. The show's name, which is sometimes stylized as RAW,[3] is also used to refer to the Raw brand, in which WWE employees are assigned to work and perform on that program; the other programs and brands are SmackDown and ECW. It is the only television broadcast for the Raw brand. The show originally debuted in the United States on the USA Network on January 11, 1993.[2] It remained there until 2000, when Raw was moved to TNN, later known as Spike TV.[4] In 2005, the show was moved back to the USA Network.[5] Since its launch in 1993, Raw continues to air on Monday nights. Raw is generally seen as the company's flagship program due to its longer history, higher ratings, and emphasis on pay-per-views.[6] It is the longest running weekly episodic television show in history.[7]
No. of episodes 850 (as of September 7, 2009)
WWE has 850 Episodes.General Hospital has 11,887 episodes.ABC's Wild World of Sports has 37 years worth of episodes,it ran twice weekly.Sesame Street
has 4,186 episodes. As you can see WWE Raw isn't even close to being The Longest running anything on Television. To their credit, they may be The Longest running Wrestling Program in America. But this may not be a totally true statement either.Shows like Memphis Pro Wrestling,Georgia All Stars,Southern Pro Wrestling,
Florida Pro Wrestling etc. if they are still on the air would predate WWE Raw by at least 10 years, though it's clear that their shows aren't as wide spread. In conclusion
do not believe Vince McMahon's lie that they have THE LONGEST RUNNING EPISODIC TELEVISION SHOW IN HISTORY!It is not true, not even close!
