Is that the one where Lawler breaks a walking stick hitting Jimmy Hart?

This proves without question that Hulkamania did not begin in the WWF, but in the AWA! He had most of his gimmick down and why Verne Gagne didn't put the belt on Hulk was a mistake of monumental proportions. Instead, Hulk left after this match and went to play with Vince and changed that organization.

Verne would never hang the belt on Terry Boulder. He was to much of an egotist. It went back and forth between Verne & Bockwinkle.Until they were to old.Guys like Rick Martel,Stan Hanson and Larry Zyzsbisco were the last few World ChampionsThe whole thing went south when Lawler became The AWA/USWA unified Champion. It devalued both Titles.

Yeah, the AWA was where all the old guys went, LOL!
Lawler as world champ didn't work for me either.

Lawler holds the record for most World Title reigns at 56!Most were MCW titles but still.
It was sad that McMahon sucked all the talent out of AWA.Now they're sucking up TNA talent. But guys like Styles who held The NWA Worlds' Championship, who are way more talented than WWE wants them to be,are getting shorted.Wrestling revolves around WWE.But at the same time they are misusing the talent.Who cares about Kevin Steen? He didn't earn his Universal Title reign. The just hung the belt on him.

I see now!
Yeah I watched a bit of ROH a few times, that's high-impact stuff, wow!
Filsinger has some ROH official sets. I haven't looked at them, but it'd be sweet to go to a ROH show and get the cards autographed!

McMahon is trying to acquire ROH and TNA.Just because you own the brands doesn't mean you'll have good product. To bad there's no one that takes after McMahon Sr.

I wonder who will buy the WWE now that it's for sale? You would need a real visionary to help steer the ship and maybe come up with a better business model. Or at least something enjoyable to old and new fans alike.

There is no one. Most of the great promoters are to old or dead. The hole wwe dug itself into is very deep.itd be costly to say the least.
