CARD 24: AWE House Show on Friday September 4, 2009 @ the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Center in Wasilla AK
Ed Wiskowski was standing in the center of the ring before the night's fights started. "Ted Arcidi," Ed began. "You think you have me over a barrel due to your acquisition of Bill Goldberg on the last fight card. Well, you're wrong! Power4Life will prove that it is THE best group in wrestling history! We have an Ace up our sleeve, but I won't reveal who that Ace is just yet. You will have to stew in the knowledge that TAG Elite's days are numbered! And that goes DOUBLE for you, Bill Goldberg!"
MATCH 1: "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk (with Brian Pillman) VS Moondog Rex Wasting no time in getting the win here, Zenk quickly disposed of the Moondog. Tom Zenk won with a Flying Cross Bodypress in a time of just 0:28!
MATCH 2: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS Nathan Jones (with Ed Wiskowski) Agility was the name of the game here, as Steamboat used it to full advantage for the win. Ricky Steamboat won with his finisher-TOP ROPE BODYPRESS in a time of 9:58.
MATCH 3: "Dogface Gremlin" Rick Steiner VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious A good, tough fight, but Sid was able to reverse a move to get the victory in this one. Sid Vicious won when he reversed a Cross Body Block in a time of 7:37.
MATCH 4: Cactus Jack VS "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff The big Russian used the power game to get the win over the crazed Cactus Jack. Nikita Koloff won with his finisher-RUSSIAN SICKLE in a time of 2:36.
MATCH 5: AWE Tag Team Champs the Road Warriors Animal & Hawk VS Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys -- Non-title bout Animal was too much of an animal here as the referee DQed him to give the Dudleys the match. Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys won when Road Warrior Animal was disqualified against Bubba Ray in a time of 2:28, thus the Dudleys receive a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 6: Verne Gagne VS Brock Lesnar Experience paid off for Gagne as he ran circles around a frustrated Lesnar for the win. Verne Gagne won with an Indian Deathlock in a time of 1:03.
MATCH 7: AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rock VS Iron Sheik -- Non-title These two put on a good show, but The Rock was just too good for the Sheik in this bout. The Rock won with a Sharpshooter in a time of 8:22.
MATCH 8: Ultimate Warrior VS Dory Funk jr The onslaught was too much for Funk, as Ultimate poured it on for the victory! Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 1:55.
MATCH 9: "Flyin'" Brian Pillman VS "Stone Cold" Steve Austin -- Home Run Derby Match A bloody match that saw these two former friends tear into each other, with Austin winning! Steve Austin won with a Diving Elbow Drop in a time of 6:13.

Thanks! The following AWE Card started out kind of slow, but ended with a bunch of big upsets!
CARD 25: AWE TV Taping on Saturday September 5, 2009 @ the Soldatna Sports Arena in Soldatna AK
"The time has come," Sid Vicious said as he stood in the middle of the ring as the night got underway. "It's time for the ruler of the world to take his place among the wrestling elite! I know you have been champion for a while now, Rock, but tonight, the rest of the world will be shocked to find out that The Rock does not rule the world! That, in fact, SID VICIOUS RULES THE WORLD!"
MATCH 1: Giant Baba VS Iron Sheik Baba did not expect such a hard fight against Sheik and got frustrated enough to be DQed! Iron Sheik won when Giant Baba was disqualified in a time of 14:56.
MATCH 2: Kevin Von Erich VS Ted Arcidi Sensing certain defeat, Arcidi got himself DQed to save the embarrassment of being pinned. Kevin Von Erich won when Ted Arcidi was disqualified in a time of 11:38.
MATCH 3: "Flyin'" Brian Pillman & "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk VS the Headhunters This was a knock-down, drag-out fight that ended when Zenk was counted-out. The Headhunters won when Tom Zenk was counted-out against Headhunter A in a time of 18:19.
MATCH 4: Rocky Johnson VS Brock Lesnar Another count-out, as Johnson could not make it back into the ring in time in this match. Brock Lesnar won when Rocky Johnson was counted-out in a time of 14:56.
MATCH 5: Jay Youngblood VS Dory Funk jr Cowboys vs Indians part 2, as Funk capitalized on a mistake and took this one quickly. Dory Funk jr won with his finisher-BUTTERFLY SUPLEX in a time of 2:44.
MATCH 6: Cactus Jack VS Terry Funk -- Pin Anywhere Match Pulling out all the stops, Cactus got the victory here in a crowd-pleaser! Cactus Jack won with a Tree of Woe Diving Elbow in a time of 16:08.
MATCH 7: Verne Gagne VS "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez A surprise upset here, as Gagne severely under-estimated his opponent! Manny Fernandez won with a Raging Bulldozer in a time of 2:20.
MATCH 8: AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rock VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- Non-title A solid showing, and blood was flowing, but Sid had the last laugh in this one! Sid Vicious won with his finisher-POWER BOMB in a time of 17:11, thus Sid Vicious receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 9: Ultimate Warrior VS "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff Another upset in a fight card of upsets, as Koloff got the upset win here! Nikita Koloff won with his finisher-RUSSIAN SICKLE in a time of 8:21.
MATCH 10: AWE Tag Team Champs the Road Warriors Animal & Hawk VS Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley -- TITLE BOUT Would this be an upset also? Yes, as the Dudleys manage to dethrone the LOD here! Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys won when Bubba Ray pinned Hawk after D-Von's tag finisher-SAVING GRACE in a time of 1:58, thus Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley are the NEW AWE Tag Team Champions for the first time!

It seems like Ted gets more DQ's then anything else... The Head Hunters and Lesner with count-out victories, they're opponents took the easy way out... The Dudleys uncrown the LOD, thats a very good showdown... Hey where is Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in AWE?

Or are you going to choke the way you have done most of your career? This is the big time, Sid. THIS is the hotbed of professional wrestling! It's time for you to step up your game, and show us what you are made of! Are you going to win it all, or let The Rock lay the Smackdown on your candyass? If you smell... what The Rock... is cooking!"
MATCH 1: "Mr U.S.A." Tony Atlas VS Steve "Crusher" Casey An easy match for Casey here, as he wins with his favorite move. Steve Casey won with his finisher-KILLARMEY FLIP in a time of 2:11.
MATCH 2: Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart (Hart Foundation) VS Moondogs Rex & Spot The Moondogs did not put up much of a fight in this match-up this time around. Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart won when Bret used his finisher-SHARPSHOOTER on Rex in a time of 5:07.
MATCH 3: Jack Brisco VS Steve "Mongo" McMichael Jack Brisco won when McMichael was disqualified because of outside interference by Nathan Jones in a time of 1:18.
MATCH 4: "Modern Day Warrior" Kerry Von Erich VS Nathan Jones -- Tables Match Jones did not fair too well here, getting tosses into three tables on his way to a loss. Kerry Von Erich won with his finisher-IRON CLAW in a time of 4:14.
MATCH 5: Bill Goldberg (with Ted Arcidi) VS "Dangerous" Dan Spivey (with Sid Vicious) On paper, it looked like a good match-up, but Goldberg took over and won here. Bill Goldberg won with his finisher-SPEAR & JACKHAMMER in a time of 5:41.
MATCH 6: AWE Television Champ Jerry Lawler VS Magnum T.A. -- Non-title bout Running on all cylinders, Magnum managed to get a win in this one! Magnum T.A. won when Lawler tapped out to a Figure-Four Leglock in a time of 6:02, thus Magnum receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 7: "Dogface Gremlin" Rick Steiner VS "Total Package" Lex Luger Exploding on offense, Steiner picked up a tough win over his arrogant opponent. Rick Steiner won with his finisher-FLYING BULLDOG HEADLOCK in a time of 3:39.
MATCH 8: AWE X-Treme Champion Scott Steiner VS The Undertaker -- TITLE BOUT In a true test of his abilities, Scott Steiner came through and defeated his favored opponent! Scott Steiner won with his finisher-FRANKENSTEINER in a time of 2:49.
MATCH 9: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Steamboat was playing catch-up in this, as Austin went on to a hard-fought victory. Steve Austin won with a Texas Cloverleaf in a time of 8:47.
MATCH 10: AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rock VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- TITLE BOUT This was a five-star match all the way, and in the end, Sid came out the winner! Sid Vicious won with a Big Boot to Face in a time of 19:23, thus Sid Vicious becomes the NEW AWE Heavyweight Champion for the first time!

CARD 27: AWE TV Taping on Friday September 11, 2009 @ the Carlson Center in Fairbanks AK Jerry Lawler wanted to address the audience before the first bout. "Magnum T.A., you think you're so great! Well, I got news for you: You're not! You wouldn't last a minute in the ring with me in Memphis. You won't last a minute with me in the ring here tonight! You think that just because the fans love you, that will be enough to take this TV Belt from me? Ha, you are about as smart as Cactus Jack is handsome! The TV Belt is mine, and will remain mine for a long time to come!"
MATCH 1: Jack Brisco VS Cactus Jack This match was dominated by Brisco, as he goes on to win the first bout of the card. Jack Brisco won with a European Backbreaker in a time of 6:33.
MATCH 2: "Flyin'" Brian Pillman & "Z-Man" Tom Zenk VS Nathan Jones & Steve McMichael (with Ed Wiskowski) Steve McMichael was not too happy with the outcome here, as Zenk picked up the victory. Brian Pillman & Tom Zenk won when Zenk pinned McMichael with a Z-Man Powerslam in a time of 1:19.

MATCH 6: AWE Tag Team Champions Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys VS Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart (Hart Foundation) -- Non-title bout Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys won when Bubba Ray pinned Neidhart after D-Von's tag finisher-SAVING GRACE in a time of 3:35.

CARD 28: AWE TV Taping on Saturday September 12, 2009 @ the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Center in Wasilla AK
Ed Wiskowski and the Headhunters were in the ring before the night's bouts got underway. It appeared that Wiskowski had something on his mind. "Road Warrior Hawk, you take on one of my Headhunters tonight in a Singapore Cane match. He is going to give you a beating of a lifetime, Hawk! There will be no stopping him once he gets his hands on you! It is time for my Headhunters to show the world what they are made of, and tonight, it all starts with you, Hawk! Just accept defeat now, and save us the trouble of beating you up!
MATCH 1: Jay Youngblood VS Iron Sheik A good battle between these two, then Youngblood secured a win here. Jay Youngblood won with a Reverse Body Press in a time of 5:54.
MATCH 2: Giant Baba VS "The Total Package" Lex Luger This one was a see-saw match-up, but Baba eventually took over and got the victory. Giant Baba won with a Russian Legsweep in a time of 12:31.
MATCH 3: Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs VS Moondogs Rex & Spot No problems for the Von Erichs here, as Kevin got an easy win over Moondog Rex here. Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs won when Kevin used his finisher-FLYING BODYPRESS on Rex in a time of 1:19.

Looks like the magic is dead for TAG, Ted and Manny losing to Atlas and Johnson...
Wow the Head Hunters are looking strong in singles action, maybe they need a title run in the singles scene...
Dory winning the X-Treme Belt is unique but cool...

MATCH 1: Jack Brisco VS Jay Youngblood This erupted into a surprising brawl, as Jay Youngblood lost his temper and was DQed. Jack Brisco won when Youngblood was disqualified in a time of 2:35.
MATCH 2: "Flyin'" Brian Pillman VS Brock Lesnar Chalking up a solid win here, Lesnar put away Pillman without too much trouble. Brock Lesnar won when he reversed a Cross Body Block in a time of 7:25.
MATCH 3: Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs VS Ted Arcidi & "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez This one was an easy win for Kerry, as he was able to defeat Arcidi here. Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs won when Kerry pinned Arcidi with a Cross Body Block in a time of 3:16.
MATCH 4: Scott Steiner VS "Dangerous" Dan Spivey (with Sid Vicious) A back-and-forth battle, until Spivey had had enough and used his favorite move to win. Dan Spivey won with his finisher-POWER BOMB in a time of 20:00.
MATCH 5: Bill Goldberg VS "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff In a power struggle, Goldberg eventually got the upper hand and finished off Koloff. Bill Goldberg won with his finisher-SPEAR & JACKHAMMER in a time of 20:42.
MATCH 6: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS "The Total Package" Lex Luger -- Indian Strap Wasting little time, Luger got a submission victory over his rival in this one. Lex Luger won with his finisher-HUMAN TORTURE RACK in a time of just 0:48!
MATCH 7: Road Warrior Hawk VS Terry Funk Physically dominating his opponent, Hawk was able to gather for himself a victory here. Hawk won with a Gut Wrench Suplex in a time of 6:25.
