While I was working night maintenance the other night, I came up with the idea of a "Highlander" wrestler from Scotland who uses a move known as the CABER TOSS. So when I got home I began looking up the rules for caber tossing, which originated in Scotland (hence, the wrestler would be a "Highlander" from Scotland) supposedly in the logging industry as a way to use cut trees to bridge chasms. If it were developed correctly, I think that a Scottish wrestler who used the CABER TOSS as a finisher would be very interesting. I haven't fleshed out all of the details of the character, but this is what I've come up with so far:
CABER TOSS: (TBD) stands with his back to the turnbuckle and uses his hands to lift his opponent up by the soles of his feet so that the opponent is "standing" on (TBD's) hands, and then takes a running charge and tosses the opponent into the air so that he lands on his back on the mat.
Now, I say that the CABER TOSS would have to be developed correctly because if he tossed the opponent too hard or the opponent doesn't know how to correctly take the bump, he could potentially land on his head and break his neck. In true caber tossing, the small end of the caber (which I'll refer to as the "head" for the purpose of the conceptual idea) in a perfect toss would strike the ground and the large end (which I'll refer to as the "feet") would then flip over and land on the ground away from the tosser. That's not exactly what I want for this finisher idea.
Any suggestions, guys?
