Amazon Wrestling League to Reopen Soon
The Amazon (AP) 2010
The wrestling federation formally known as Amazon Wrestling Entertainment has filed court papers to resume under their old name - Amazon Wrestling League. The press has been allowed to visit the facilities today and witnessed a warm up match between famed heel wrestler Beulah and under utilized beauty named Bambi Boom Boom. Beulah dispatched her rival in just over two minutes.
"Yeah, it was fun, getting in the AWL ring again," Beulah said, "and I look forward to beating the crap out of every person who dares set foot in the ring against me too!"
AWL owner and CEO, Kelly Monro, said it was long time in coming for the federation to return to active duty.
"I know the fans were wondering where we have been...and frankly it is none of their business! But we are dusting everything off and polishing what needs polishing and soon we will deliver the top-notch wrestling that this industry has expected from us all of these years."
The AWL still recognizes The Bull as their champion. But he doesn't give interviews anymore ever since Dr Deathlock, Mr Flame and Bad Bruiser and their former partner, The Bull, had a little disagreement after a show and The Bull was rushed to the hospital after somehow having his tongue severed from his mouth. Little has been said about the incident and no charges were ever filed.
There will be tag team belts for both men and women, and also a mixed tag belt, and a championship title for females. Another belt has been hinted at but so far nothing more has been said.
No word if AWL will keep their same broadcast team or if anyone else has been hired or employees promoted.

Professional wrestler Beulah, from the Amazon Wrestling League sat down for a rare interview concerning the return of AWL.
"I've been just about everywhere and wrestled just about anyone who is anyone in this business. That includes men and women. I've won so many championship belts that I lost count. My drive for excellence in this sport is what keeps me going. It sure isn't the sissified fans!"
When asked about AWL's return she was just as animated.
"AWL is where I got my start...what has it been, over a decade ago already? I love wrestling here. The faces, even those I can't stand, bring a familiar feeling to it all. And I plan to keep kicking butt until there is no one left who will face me in the ring. And then...maybe then I will hang up my boots."
On whether she will still tag with her long time partner Masked Margueax.
"Yes, of course I will. I mean, I tag with others for Dr B's federation's and others, but in AWL she is my girl. We like to kick tail like it was no body's business! We know each others moves before we even do 'em. We will hold the tag belts as soon as the tourney begins, I can promise you that!"
On her chief rivals in the federation.
"Honey Childe has it in for me. But she doesn't have the talent to stay with me for very long. She is just sore about what happened to her dad. He is still alive, so I don't know what she is complaining about! But I have to watch my back, even in the locker room because her, and those like her, are jealous of my success and will stop at no end to cut my domination short. Honey Childe, just watch your step! You may just cross the invisible line in the sand and all bets are off as to what will happen to you!"
When asked what happened to Honey's father, Beulah retorted, "Ask Honey Childe!"
The subject of Honey Childe seemed to anger Beulah and she called the interview closed and stormed out of the bar where it was being conducted.

Very nice!And even though Beulah is leaving the Mid-South Territory and returning to The Mid-West Territory and The Original AWL,I think it is a great career move.Beulah has done everything down here in The Mid-South Territory.She has held every Women's Title there is to hold in The W-UEW,WWW,IWA and Women's Freestyle feds.Beulah has held the Women's Elite Title more than any other wrestler.Going back to the AWL will be like going home.
