In order to get motivated to start watching all of the wrestling dvd's that have been piling up I decided to these short reviews and hopefully start some discussions

With Larry Nelson, Ron Trongard, Lord James Blears, and Greg Gagne
The show starts out with AWA president Stanley Blackburn and Larry Nelson standing outside with a crowd of fans. Blackburn talks about the best wrestlers he's seen during his time in the AWA and Larry Nelson tells the fans not to worry because the the AWA feels instant replay does not belong in pro wrestling and the AWA will not be using it. I'm not sure what that was all about
- Earthquake Ferris beats Ali Khan W/ Sheik Adnan Al Kaissey in the opening match with a bodyslam. This match was pretty boring at least Ferris could have used the Ferris Wheel (airplane spin) to finish things off
- Sherri Martel W/ Buddy Rose defeats Candi Divine with a small package using the ropes to win the AWA Ladies title. This match had lots of headlocks, eye rakes, and hair filps
- Next up a ton of commericals and a promo for something called ringside rumors with Donna
- Jimmy Snuka defeated Jay York with a superfly leap and after the match talks with Larry Nelson. Snuka mumbles something about being there for Greg Gagne and not minding starting off at the bottom and working his way up to a title match against Stan Hansen.
- Nord The Barbarian def Nick Bockwinkel with a big boot after Bockwinkel brawled with Adnan Al Kaissey who jumped on the ring apron
- Greg Gagne was Larry Zybysko's guest on In This Corner With Larry Zybysko.
- Stan Hansen retained his AWA title by disqualification when Hansen beat Blackwell over the head with his boot while the ref was knocked out and then attacked the new ref. The best match of the show IMO
- The Midnight Rockers and Curt Hennig beat Buddy Rose, Doug Somers, and Alexis Smirnoff in the main event when Micheals press slammed Jannety on top of BuddyRose. This wasn't a bad match but I'm not sure why this was the main event and not the AWA title match.
Not a bad show just dont understand why the title match wasn't the main event and why Bockwinkle was put in the middle of the card
