Another top independent womens wrestling star is set to join the Legends ranks. This time it is Allison Danger!
Danger is known for working the strong style in the ring and being very technically sound. She trained with her brother Steve Corino, a fellow Legend, as well as at the Chikara Wrestle Factory. Danger got her start in wrestling by managing hardcore Legend the Sandman. From there she steadily improved her in-ring skills and is now one of the top competitors in Shimmer Women Athletes. Danger has worked in many promotions around the United States including Ring of Honor, Jersey All Pro Wrestling and IWA-Mid South. She has also competed overseas in Europe, Korea, Guam and Japan.
There are familiar faces in Legends for Danger to square off against. A matchup against April Hunter would be one to see just how good Danger really is. Fellow Shimmer competitors Daizee Haze and Sara Del Rey are well known to Danger. She forms the team of the Dangerous Angels with Del Rey.
Danger has teamed in the past with Alere Little Feather and Cindy Rogers in different companies. It was in Shimmer where Rogers turned on Danger, sparking a very intense, bitter feud that saw the two fight through No Holds Barred matches, best two of three falls, and even a Dog Collar match. Danger and ALF were WXW tag team champions.
Danger's move of choice to end a match is the SHIMMERING WARLOCK, a step-up enzuigiri to a kneeling opponent. The Lovelace Choker is an inverted facelock neckbreaker, and the Flirting with Danger is a single knee face breaker. Another favorite is the curb kick where Danger slams a big boot to the back of the head when the opponent is hung over the bottom rope. Her STO move is a clothesline while sweeping out the leg.
In a Legends ring Danger will find plenty of top notch oppoenents to see how she measures up against them.
(I included Rogers and Little Feather in the bio as they will be the next cards I do.)

A blog or diary entry from Allison Danger remembering her 10 years in the business.
Decade of Danger
When January 2000 arrived I had no idea where the next year of my life would take me. Now that January 2010 is on the horizon, I have taken a few moments to look back and reflect upon the last decade. In May 2000, I officially made my debut in wrestling, at a show in Reading, PA. With the support of Francine, Jack Victory and others I filled in for Sandman's wife and accompanied him to the ring. When I first stepped out of the locker room I thought to myself "This will be a fun, one time thing". When I returned I knew I had caught the bug. With the blessing of my brother Steve and the training of Mike Kehner and Rapid Fire Maldanado, I was on my way.
I honestly never thought I would get anywhere in wrestling. I did not think I had the look, the bra size or the talent that anyone wanted. Yet somehow I was able to create a niche for myself that people took to. I couldn't believe the first time I was flown to a show. I thought "Damn, I have made it!", LOL. When i was preparing for my first tour of Japan I was convinced it was a rib and I would show up at the airport and a camera crew and my friends would be waiting there to "punk" me. After my match there I sat outside in the rain and just tried to drink in how lucky I was to have gone that far in wrestling. Little did I know more amazing things were to come.
That first tour gave me the taste of traveling and sparked a wanderlust in me that I just couldn't quench. After 2003, I was able to go back to Japan two more times, Guam, Hawaii (yeah, its a state but a state I would never have made it to otherwise!), South Korea, La Reunion, England, Wales, Ireland, Germany, France and then some. In England I lived with strangers who became family and met fans who became friends. In Germany I found something even better. I met the man who would rock my world, heal my heart and share with me his last name. Of course, its a last name no one can pronounce.
2008 looked like it would be my last year in wrestling. After dealing with a few nagging injuries I ended up with a broken collarbone six weeks before my wedding. I was frustrated with my string of bad luck and felt like I had hit a huge wall in wrestling. But nothing puts wrestling on the back burner faster than finding out you are going to be a mom! I was convinced throughout my pregnancy that I would not return to the ring after my daughter's birth. At first I struggled with that decision but soon came to terms with my career being done. I booked a few shows here and there and dabbled and helped out with some younger talent. A few friends and colleagues were able to convince me to come back, if only for a short time, to finish out my feud with Portia Perez. Hell, I owed the fans that much to wrap up any loose ends before I finally called it a day. To be honest, while my performance was lackluster and below my personal standards, that SHIMMER weekend put the spark back in my soul and made me want to keep pushing, knock down that wall and become better than ever.
In the past six months since that show I have shed the baby weight and have really been focusing on where I want to go from here. I want to push myself to the limit and see where I can take this. Expect to see some changes in 2010. 2010 will a celebration for myself and for the fans. I am currently designing anniversary shirts and will make them available sometime in January. In addition, I am working on expanding my dental project through the next year. I will be working with various promotions to collect more supplies and donate them to under-privileged.
Ten years is a long time to collect a lot of thank you's so if I miss anyone I apologize in advance. Please know its my shite memory and not a reflection on the impact you have made on my life. First off:
To my husband and daughter: You two are the reason I get up every morning with a smile. No matter what life may throw at me you both give me a joy I never knew possible. I love you both with all my heart and soul.
Steve: If it weren't for your go-ahead there would be no Allison Danger. Hell, if it weren't for your idea there would only barely be an Allison Thank you for everything, training, advice and stories. And most importantly, thank you for Colby. He is the best.
My family: Without your support, I would have not made it this far.
Kehner: You are as much family as if we shared the same blood. And for all your love and support you deserved your own shout out, LOL. FB would be lame without our endless conversations on wrestling and life in general. Congratulations again to you and Connie and thank you for being the best big brother not named Steve a gal could ever ask for.
Claudio: Thanks for keeping it very European.
Sara: How right were those two who said we would be perfect together (in a totally hetero way, of course)? You have been an amazing friend. I will always cherish living together at the beach, Gold's Gym, Hitchin and the Disney Room on top of all our other shenanigans.
Prazak: Without you, there would be no SHIMMER. Without me, SHIMMER fans would be in a world without the word "twatwaffle". Thank you for letting me be such a part of your vision.
Chris Daniels: You have been so much a part of my career its unbelievable. You took an okay manager with limited wrestling talent and helped her grow into what she is today. Your knowledge, your patience and your leadership is unparalleled. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the time you took to teach me, in ring and out. You gave me a voice and allowed me a forum unto which I was free to bounce ideas off you; a creative freedom most would not have given someone. You kick a hundred ways of ass. YOU KNOW IT!
Gabe: My five years working with you was a blast. You took an unknown and gave her a name and a place in history.
The ROH crew: You are all top notch. I loved my run with you guys. Some of my fondest wrestling memories involve ROH road trips. And that one time at Cheeks in Dayton... Yikes!
Quack & the Chikara crew: I credit my in ring time at Chikara school with helping me truly find my way around the ring. You polished my basics and gave me some direction. Most of all, you made me feel welcome. For that I will always be grateful.
BJ:No road trip was complete without Whitmer. Teaming with him, Daniels and Maff and subsequently feuding with him and Maff were highlights of my ROH run. When things got hard for me personally, BJ was there all the way. There were days when things were so hard you were the only air in my lungs. Few people could make me laugh at ringside better than you. Thank you for being one of the best friends a person could want. BTW, my text message count is much lower these days, hahahhaa.
The Rileys: When I first arrived in England I had no idea that Sara and I would be staying with you guys. You didn't have to open your home to us but you did with such warmth and kindness. Those five weeks I spent with you guys were honestly some of the happiest times of my life. You both have no idea how much I needed people like you; hell, I had no idea how much I needed you guys. You both helped turn my life in a much better direction. Duvet time, chocolates and tea, Hitchin zombies, beeches (!), Disney room and the Triangle Cafe...the list goes on. I miss you both terribly.
Ashehole, Jetta, Kelly: We were the crew for those few weeks in the UK. Tesco, Krispy Kreme and hawaiian shirts galore were tainted. And random dogs humping will never look the same.
Everyone who made my first European tour happen: Phil, Paul, Chris from Wales, Irish Whip crew, GSW, QoC and everyone else involved-thank you!
Thomas Simpson: Boom boom, I heart you. You crack me the hell up. And I really appreciate how you look out for my family and I. You are a true friend to the end.
To all the promotions who have brought me into their locker room: Thank you for allowing me the forum to showcase my passion for wrestling and believing that I can give something to your company and your fans.
As my eyes grow weary I will close out with this: Again, thank you to anyone I missed, please don't think of it as a slight. Just chalk it up to my crap memory and baby induced state of exhaustion.
Finally, a giant THANK YOU to all the fans who have stuck by me through the last ten years. Lets make 2010 a hell of a celebration.
