We're expecting 1 to 1 and a half feet of snow here! First real snowfall of the season, not sure if it'll knock out the power or not since we already have 34,000 electricity customers without power in MA already! Just letting everyone know that in case I can't make it online for the next few days. Wouldn't want anyone to worry!

Blizzard Warning for eastern Hampden and Hampshire counties until 6pm Monday.
Winter Storm Warning for all of western Massachusetts until 6pm Monday.
Hope your travels have been safe this Sunday night. Moderate snow has overspread Western Massachusetts and will continue through early Monday afternoon. The snow will be heavy Sunday night through early Monday morning bringing limited visibility and whiteout conditions at times. Winds will provide blowing and drifting snow on Monday, even when there is no longer new snow falling from the sky.
As far as accumulations go, we're looking at 8-12 inches of snow by early Monday afternoon in Central Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin Counties. To the east and west, there is the potential for 12-16 inches of snow. Some locally heavier amounts are possible.
