I saw a Indy show on youtube they were in a McDonald's parking lot.In the early 90s WLW setup the ring in a church yard in the next town. Amish Girls were on my disc. Nah your are the butt of a few jokes tho.Even tho you're managing 3 Champions! Dr B |

If I was a real wrestling manager, I kind of picture myself a Capt Lou Albano clone! That guy just mesmerized me when I first started watching wrestling, he was so unique, loud, gross, and amazing! Always good for a laugh or two! Who else would have a rubber band around their beard and a pierced cheek on their face?

Some of the small indys are so cheap they can't afford an arena.Lot of them do open air shows.
Albano was good he played the role well.I always liked Cornette.You just believed so much that he was a rotten manager that would do anything so The Midnights would win.

Cornette was always funny on the mic too, and it was fun to listen to his commentary!
Thinking of Captain Lou, of course, reminds me of Super Mario Super Show! Now, THAT was a perfect vehicle for Albano!
