I think TZ was on radio in the 50s.

I think it was also newer stuff in the 2000's, I'd have to look.
Anyway, some of the old episodes were CLASSICS!

I wanted to talk a little about Giant Jayne. At 11 years she looked like an adult. She is a Pathelogical Giant.I think she was around 6' 2",but she displayed all thesigns of Gigantism. Her voice was low due to enlarged vocal cords.I remeber seeing her at a local nightclub she was 14 or 15 but no one questioned her.
She was troubled back then because she was different.I haven't seen her since the 80s.Hopefully she is alive and well.
I met Big Bad Helene when she attended a school I worked at.Her character was originally called Cadet Helene because she was in ROTC.I saw her some years later she was tall and I thought I needed to give her a new name and a heel turn.It worked out well. GIGANTUS became a top tag team in the Alliance.Last time I saw her Helene worked at a Safeway.

Cool history lesson!
If I ever invented wrestlers off the people I met over the years, I'd make all the bullies into prelim bums! And all my crushes into Championship material! Although, I'd have to find pics of people that looked a lot like them because the perfectionist in me wouldn't want it any other way, haha!
Actually, I DID make 2 prelim bums many years back, but I don't have copies of them anymore. No big loss, at least I don't have to deal with those guys IRL anymore, so that's good!

Punch-drunk Abe, Crying John and most of that old roster were people from around here.

I know you said Shelley the JuiceGirl and Nina (was that the name?) were from where you are. Is that right?

Shelley The Juicegirl is in Oregon now. She lived here till around 2010. Dina was the drummer for my band 77-80. She lived down the street from where Frank Zappa stayed. She's in Glendale I think.

Zappa! Wow!
What a small world, huh? Especially in the age of the internet!

A drummer I played with conned Zappa into letting him do his yardwork. After they moved a friend of mine rented the house. Pretty nice.
