CARD 6: AWE TV Taping on Monday July 6, 2009 @ the Wasilla Multi-Use Sports Complex in Wasilla AK MATCH 1: “The Z-Man” Tom Zenk VS Steve “Crusher” Casey Not much offense from Zenk here, as Casey proved to be the better wrestler in this one. Steve Casey won with his finisher-KILLARMEY FLIP in a time of 8:50.
MATCH 2: Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs VS Nathan Jones & Steve “Mongo” McMichael Kerry had the edge in experience here, as Jones fell to Kerry's finisher. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich won when Kerry used his finisher-DISCUS PUNCH on Nathan Jones in a time of 9:37.
MATCH 3: Rocky Johnson VS Freddie Blassie Although Blassie put up a good fight, Johnson was on fire in this match-up. Rocky Johnson won when Blassie was disqualified in a time of 6:12.
MATCH 4: Jack Brisco VS Ted Arcidi Utilizing the power game, Arcidi used his finisher a multitude of times to secure the win here. Ted Arcidi won by using his finisher-BEARHUG three times in a row in a time of 5:06.
MATCH 5: Bill Goldberg VS George Hackenschmidt Once Goldberg misses a Spear, Hackenschmidt took total control of the match. George Hackenschmidt won with his finisher-RUSSIAN BEARHUG in a time of 14:23.
MATCH 6: AWE Tag Team Champs Road Warriors Animal & Hawk (with Ellering) VS Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys -- Non-title bout An excellent match as both teams showed off their tag expertise, then LOD put this one away! The Road Warriors won when Animal pinned D-Von Dudley with a Flying Shoulder Ram in a time of 11:30.
MATCH 7: Magnum T.A. VS “Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez Fernandez controlled most of the match, but Magnum's quickness won out in the end. Magnum T.A. won after reversing a Cross Body Block in a time of 11:09.
MATCH 8: AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rock VS the Iron Sheik -- Non-title bout Out of frustration, the Iron Sheik got himself disqualified to give the match to the Champ! The Rock won by disqualification in a time of 5:57.
MATCH 9: Ultimate Warrior VS The Undertaker -- Coffin Match A grueling battle in which the Ultimate Warrior was able to pick up a well-deserved win! Ultimate Warrior shut the coffin on The Undertaker after dropping him throat-first on the top rope in a time of 38:55.
MATCH 10: AWE Television Champion “Sycho” Sid Vicious VS Jay Youngblood -- TITLE BOUT It was meant to be, as Jay Youngblood put Sid to sleep and won the Television Belt! Jay Youngblood won with his finisher-SLEEPER in a time of 9:23, thus Jay Youngblood becomes the NEW AWE Television Champion!

wow, the old timers rough up some of the younger guys! Oh well, guess that's how it should be, the more schooled veterans showing us they still got it! Good stuff as usual. Can't believe Psycho Sid lost the TV title already! boooooo.... Keep it up man!

Well, I said it was probably going to happen, but now I have no idea who can beat Sid! He may hang onto that belt for a while. Kelly Monro Well, I had played out Sid losing the Belt to Jay Youngblood already when you wrote that, Kelly, but I didn't want to spoil things, LOL!

CARD 7: AWE House Show on Tuesday July 7, 2009 @ the Carlson Center in Fairbanks AK MATCH 1: "Precious" Paul Ellering VS "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez Paul Ellering did not last long in this match-up at all! Manny Fernandez won with his finisher-FLYING BURRITO in a time of just 0:55.
MATCH 2: Bret Hart & Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart (The Hart Foundation) VS Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys Excellent tag action here, as both teams gave it their best! The Dudleys got the win here! Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley won when Bubba Ray used his finisher-POWER BOMB on Bret Hart in a time of 11:29.
MATCH 3: Kevin Von Erich VS Terry Funk Kevin did not put up much of a fight as Terry Funk came away with an easy victory. Terry Funk won by using his finisher-SPINNING TOEHOLD two times in a row in a time of 1:43.
MATCH 4: Tito Santana & Tom Zenk VS Sid Vicious & Ed Wiskowski Great action as these four tore into each other! Wiskowski pulled the trunks to get the win! Sid Vicious & Ed Wiskowski won when Ed Wiskowski used his finisher-FLYING HEADBUTT on Zenk in a time of 9:45.
Tom Zenk grabbed a mic after the match and shouted at Wiskowski: “You pulled my tights to steal a win, Wiskowski! I challenge you to a singles match next fight card! You won’t steal a win from me again!” Ed Wiskowski nodded, accepting the challenge!
MATCH 5: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS Steve "Crusher" Casey Steamboat could not withstand the offense of Casey, as Casey went onto a big win here. Steve Casey won with The Kerry Crush in a time of 5:01.
MATCH 6: AWE Television Champion Jay Youngblood VS Jerry "The King" Lawler -- Non-title bout A quick DQ here, and the Champ was steamed! Jerry Lawler won when Jay Youngblood was disqualified in a time of 1:37, thus Jerry Lawler receives a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 7: Verne Gagne VS Dory Funk jr Terry Funk came down to ringside and interfered long enough for Dory to get the win! Dory Funk jr won when Verne Gagne was counted-out in a time of 3:22.
MATCH 8: AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rock VS Lex Luger -- Non-title bout Two early Rock Bottoms and Luger could not recover enough to pull out a win here. The Rock won with his finisher-ROCK BOTTOM in a time of 19:04.
MATCH 9: Jack Brisco VS The Undertaker Both wrestlers were bloody messes as they went at it, with ‘Taker coming out on top! The Undertaker won with his finisher-TOMBSTONE in a time of 6:51.
MATCH 10: Rick & Scott Steiners VS Nathan Jones & Steve McMichael -- Cage Elimination First Fall -- Rick Steiner escapes the cage after Steve McMichael ran face-first into the turnbuckle in a time of 3:01.
Second Fall -- Scott Steiner escaped the cage after using his finisher-FRANKENSTEINER in a time of 7:59, thus the Steiner Brothers won the match!
Ed Wiskowski came down to ringside to consult Jones and McMichael. “Pitiful,” Wiskowski said into the mic he was holding. “You two should be dominating the ring! I have come to a decision that concerns you both: It’s time to reform the greatest group wrestling has ever known! Join me again in Power4Life!” Both Jones and McMichael agreed, and they were soon joined by the Headhunters to complete the group. They took to the ring and celebrated as if they all had just won gold Belts! What is in store for AWE now that the Power4Life team has reunited? Stay tuned, fans!

CARD 8: AWE TV Taping on Thursday July 9, 2009 @ the Sullivan Arena in Anchorage AK MATCH 1: Magnum T.A. VS Ted Arcidi Arcidi started out well, but Magnum took over and won the match. Magnum T.A. won with a Short-arm Clothesline in a time of 4:04.
MATCH 2: Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson VS Moondogs Rex & Spot The Moondogs were no match for the might of Atlas & Johnson this time around. Tony Atlas & Rocky Johnson won when Atlas pinned Rex with his finisher-BIG SPLASH in a time of 3:48.
MATCH 3: "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk VS Ed Wiskowski Wiskowski was in control, but then lost it as the Z-Man pulled out a win here! Tom Zenk won with his finisher-TOP ROPE DROPKICK in a time of 7:11.
MATCH 4: Cactus Jack VS Freddie Blassie Freddie was unfocused as Cactus took little time in putting him away. Cactus Jack won with his finisher-DOUBLE ARM DDT in a time of 1:27.
MATCH 5: Bill Goldberg VS Brock Lesnar -- Chain Match These two behemoths went at it, tearing into each other, and Goldberg picked up the win! Bill Goldberg won with a Pump Handle Slam in a time of 12:56.
MATCH 6: Giant Baba VS Iron Sheik Sheik did not back down from the Giant, but got a bit too aggressive and was DQed. Giant Baba won when Iron Sheik was disqualified in a time of 10:31.
MATCH 7: AWE Tag Team Champions Road Warriors Animal & Hawk VS the Headhunters -- Non-title bout A brutal battle as these teams went at it full steam ahead! LOD then lost by DQ. The Headhunters won when Road Warrior Hawk was disqualified against Headhunter A in a time of 18:22, thus The Headhunters receive a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 8: Kerry Von Erich VS "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Things got a little too heated in the ring for Stone Cold, and the Rattlesnake got DQed. Kerry Von Erich won when Steve Austin was disqualified in a time of 6:53.
MATCH 9: AWE X-Treme Champion Tito Santana VS Nikita Koloff -- TITLE BOUT Getting right down to business, Koloff finished off Santana quickly to win the Belt! Nikita Koloff won with a Russian Hammer in a time of just 0:27, thus Nikita Koloff becomes the NEW AWE X-Treme Champion!
MATCH 10: Ultimate Warrior VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious Playing possum, Warrior then exploded and got the victory over Sid. Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher-WARRIOR PRESS & SPLASH in a time of 2:31.
MATCH 11: AWE Television Champ Jay Youngblood VS Jerry "The King" Lawler -- TITLE BOUT Coming into the match with a master plan, Lawler executed it to perfection to get the win here! Jerry Lawler won with his finisher-PILEDRIVER in a time of 2:13, thus Jerry Lawler becomes the NEW AWE Television Champion!

CARD 9: AWE TV Taping on Sunday July 14, 2009 @ the Wasilla Multi-Use Sports Complex in Wasilla AK “Headhunters,” Road Warrior Animal yelled into the mic while he was standing in the ring before the first match of the fight card. “You think you’re just gonna walk in here and take the Belts away from the Road Warriors? You’ve got another thing coming! Tell ‘em, Hawk!”
“Well, it’s like this Headhunters: You set them up, we knock ‘em down! And tonight, the Legion of Doom will add another notch in the win column as you two bite the dust like everyone else! We snack on danger, we dine on death, and tonight will be just another win for the L.O.D.! Ahhh, what a rush!!”
MATCH 1: Giant Baba VS Freddie Blassie Surviving the first time Baba used his finisher, Blassie could not survive the second. Giant Baba won when he used his finisher-NECKBREAKER DROP two times in a row in a time of 2:00.
MATCH 2: "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk VS "Stone Cold" Steve Austin Stone Cold started out slow, but then got on a roll and picked up the win here. Steve Austin won with his finisher-STONE COLD STUNNER in a time of 9:57. Austin began to pound on Zenk after the match, but "Flyin" Brian Pillman came down to rescue Zenk and no damage was suffered by The Z Man.
MATCH 3: Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs VS Moondogs Rex & Spot Not a bad match for the Von Erichs, who controlled most of the match against the Moondogs. Kerry & Kevin Von Erich won when Kerry used his finisher-DISCUS PUNCH on Moondog Rex in a time of 9:05.
MATCH 4: Bill Goldberg VS "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez It took a few minutes for Goldberg to get in a groove, then he went on to win here. Bill Goldberg won with his finisher-SPEAR & JACKHAMMER in a time of 12:06.
MATCH 5: Rick & Scott Steiners VS Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys This was a quick match, as the Steiners picked up an easy win here. Rick & Scott Steiner won when Scott Steiner pinned Bubba Ray Dudley after Rick used his tag finisher-STEINER BULLDOG in a time of just 0:25!
MATCH 6: Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS Brock Lesnar A bloody, even match until Brock was able to put Steamboat away in this one. Brock Lesnar won with his finisher--F-5 in a time of 20:17.
MATCH 7: AWE Heavyweight Champion The Rock VS Steve "Crusher" Casey -- Non-title bout A back-and-forth match throughout, but Casey lost his cool and was DQed. The Rock won when Steve Casey was disqualified in a time of 13:34.
MATCH 8: Ultimate Warrior VS "The Total Package" Lex Luger Luger was fighting an uphill battle here, and could not withstand Warrior’s power attacks. Ultimate Warrior won with his finisher- WARRIOR PRESS & DROP in a time of 14:42.
MATCH 9: AWE Tag Team Champions Road Warriors Animal & Hawk VS The Headhunters -- TITLE BOUT Incredibly, Animal was able to heft Headhunter B up on his shoulders for the LOD finisher! The Road Warriors won when Hawk pinned Headhunter B with their tag finisher-DOOMSDAY DEVICE in a time of 5:41, thus the Road Warriors retained the AWE Tag Team Belts!

Dory jr & Terry Funk were inside the ring as the lights came up for the fight card. Terry spoke menacingly into the mic. “Road Warriors, you come here and think that just because you fight all these mamby-pamby tag teams and beat them that you are just going to walk all over the Funks? You are looking into the eyes of two of the toughest Texans to ever walk the earth, son! We may not be flashy, but we will beat you within an inch of your lives, and take those titles from around your waists! You’ve never been in a REAL fight until you’ve fought the Funks! Get ready for a whuppin‘, Funk-style!”
MATCH 1: Jack Brisco VS Iron Sheik Taking over right away, Sheik wasted little time in getting the victory in this match. Iron Sheik won with his finisher-CAMEL CLUTCH in a time of 2:56.
MATCH 2: Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart (The Hart Foundation) VS Nathan Jones & Steve "Mongo" McMichael The Hart Foundation was in control, but Nathan Jones was not, and Nathan was DQed. Bret Hart & Jim Neidhart won when Nathan Jones was disqualified against Bret Hart in a time of 7:01.
MATCH 3: "Flyin" Brian Pillman VS Jay Youngblood Showing off his ring skill, Youngblood showed Pillman a wrestling lesson here. Jay Youngblood won with his finisher-TOP ROPE TOMAHAWK in a time of 3:59.
MATCH 4: "Mr. U.S.A." Tony Atlas VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious This one was not about to slip through Sid's fingers, as he went on to take home the win. Sid Vicious won with a Big Boot to Face in a time of 3:32.
MATCH 5: AWE Tag Team Champs Road Warriors Animal & Hawk VS Dory jr & Terry Funks -- Non-title bout An awesome display of tag team wrestling here, but the Funks were a little sharper in this one. Dory jr & Terry Funk won when Dory jr used his finisher-BUTTERFLY SUPLEX on Road Warrior Animal in a time of 14:17, thus the Funks receive a Title Bout on the next fight card!
MATCH 6: Verne Gagne VS The Undertaker Using the wealth of experience he has, Verne was able to pick up the victory here. Verne Gagne won with his finisher-GAGNE SLEEPER in a time of 14:11.
MATCH 7: AWE TV Champ Jerry "The King" Lawler VS Rocky Johnson -- Non-title bout Letting his temper get the best of him, Rocky Johnson was DQed to end the match. Jerry Lawler won when Rocky Johnson was disqualified in a time of 5:47.
MATCH 8: Cactus Jack VS Ted Arcidi -- Dog Collar Match Quickly taking command of the match, Ted Arcidi was able to win this without much effort. Ted Arcidi won after using his finisher-BEARHUG in a time of 1:21.
MATCH 9: AWE X-Treme Champ Nikita Koloff VS Magnum T.A. -- TITLE BOUT It took four finishers, but Magnum finally was able to put Nikita away and win the Belt! Magnum T.A. won with his finisher-BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX in a time of 14:04, thus Magnum T.A. becomes the NEW AWE X-Treme Champion!

Funks VS LOD for the Belts on the next fight card! It should be an all-out pier 6 brawl!
Magnum is one of my all-time faves! I am using his "Nightmares of the Mat 3" card in AWE, so it's a higher Rahl Rated card than his other card. Nikita ain't too happy...
I don't have Tully in the fed, sorry. Maybe I should bring in Kamala, LOL!

CARD 11: AWE TV Taping on Sunday July 25, 2009 @ the Sullivan Center in Anchorage AK With a huge smile on his face, Ted Arcidi was standing in the center and ready to address the crowd. "Have I got big news for everyone," Ted said enthusiastically. "Yes, as everyone can guess, T.A.G. will reform soon, and we will take over this fed once and for all!"
Manny Fernandez came down to ringside and joined Arcidi in the ring. "Ted, my man, we are going to dictate and dominate this place! It's all over for everyone else!"
Ted nodded. "Yeah, it's going to be the sweetest thing ever! But let's wait till the Pay-Per-View before we unleash our great group on the wrestling world. This way, everyone can sweat it out until we unleash impending doom on the wrestling world!"
The two laughed maniacally, then returned to the dressing rooms so the first match could start.
MATCH 1: "Mr. U.S.A." Tony Atlas VS Steve "Mongo" McMichael Mongo did not stand a chance against Atlas in this quick match-up. Tony Atlas won with his finisher-LEAPING HEADBUTT in a time of 1:08.
MATCH 2: Jim Neidhart VS Lex Luger Another quick match, as Luger wasted little time in disposing of Neidhart. Lex Luger won with a Powerslam in a time of just 0:26.
Tag Team Tournament for Number One Contenders for the Tag Team Belts -- Round 1 Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs VS Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudleys This one belonged to the Von Erichs, as Kevin made short work of D-Von. Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs won when Kevin used his finisher-FLYING BODYPRESS to pin D-Von Dudley in a time of 1:20.
Rick & Scott Steiners VS Moondogs Rex & Spot It took some time for the Steiners to come away with the win. The Moondogs hung in there. Rick & Scott Steiners won when Rick Steiner pinned Moondog Rex with a Dogface Gremlin D.D.T. in a time of 10:28.
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat VS Nathan Jones -- Number One Contender for X-Treme Belt It took a few minutes for Steamboat to get rolling, but he finally came away with the win. Ricky Steamboat won with his finisher-TOP ROPE BODYPRESS in a time of 5:54, thus Steamboat receives a Title Bout against the AWE X-Treme Champion at the PPV!

Tag Team Tournament -- Final Round Rick & Scott Steiners VS Kerry & Kevin Von Erichs A fast but good match, as the Steiners found a way to defeat the Von Erichs here. Rick & Scott Steiners won when Rick Steiner pinned Kevin Von Erich after Scott Steiner used his tag finisher-STEINER BULLDOG in a time of 3:46, thus the Steiners receive a Title Bout against the AWE Tag Team Champions at the PPV!
MATCH 4: "The Z-Man" Tom Zenk VS "Sycho" Sid Vicious -- Steel Cage This was no problem for Sid, as he went on to an easy victory in this grudge match. Sid Vicious escaped the cage after using his finisher-POWER BOMB in a time of just 0:53!
