Legendary super fan from Japan Masanori Horie. This man has seen all the wrestling in Japan for over the last 30 years. He knows everybody that ever wrestled there from the states. Has a ridiculous amount of pictures. He was really great, helping our tour group go everywhere we went that week. A very nice man. Masanori Horie. Attachments:

Ty, how would you say the wrestlers of Japan are different than here in the US? Do they all know English? Any insight at all you could give on women's wrestling over there would be very interesting.

Now days I think a good amount of the wrestlers do know at least some english, but they might not always use it with you lol. One difference I can talk about is better fan access at the shows than here. WWE you're not going to see John Cena before the show, or at intermission. In Japan, at an All Japan house show we went to, you could meet most of the roster. Kensuki Sasaki came out at intermission to sell shirts and take pictures.
So in general they are more available to the fans. Before the show, intermission, afterwards, you can usually see the wrestlers, get autographs, photos, etc. They seem more appreciative that the fans, are fans for lack of a better word. That you like them and want to see them. For us Americans, I think some of them were surprised we knew so much about Japanese wrestling and all of them.

Cool history of meeting wrestlers Ty, that photo of Dustin Rhodes in that gear makes me wonder what his gimmick was back then...
I should've gotten a photo of Booker T when I met him here in Buffalo at the HSBC Arena...

It was just a random indy show in New Jersey that Dustin was on. Probably been around 1999, 2000, don't remember. Have to find the program.

Great collection of photos, Ty!
I wish I could have met all the wrestlers I watched wrestle that I saw when I used to go to the matches!
